Psychological support

It is an accompaniment and psychological support limited in time, which offers help on a specific problem (for example a state of anxiety, a moment of particular fatigue related to work or private life, a sudden crisis and "fall" in one's performance, the loss of clarity in the face of an important decision). It allows the analysis and understanding of the problem, the recovery of equilibrium and "normality" on an emotional level and adequate effectiveness on a professional and relationship level.


The first interview serves to help us understand what is happening, what your specific problem is, the emotions that accompany it, which areas you would like to work on and what condition you would like to achieve. They also serve to decide the type of psychological work consistent with what you want to achieve. The interview can also be done online.


In subsequent interviews we will address the problem in greater depth, starting with the episodes and personal experiences that accompanied them. We will try to understand the sense, sometimes hidden, the emotions to be dissolved, the not very functional behaviours and those that can give you greater tranquillity, balance and well-being. We will analyze together the progressive changes introduced and the consequences of your personal and professional life. I will help you to keep in constant contact with your emotions and to use them to the fullest to understand what is happening to you and how you can change.


Duration and commitment. The interviews are individual lasting 50 minutes. Meetings can be in person or via Skype, Whatsapp, or Meet.

The duration of the course is 8-10 meetings and is not entirely definable in advance as it varies according to your characteristics and the results you want to achieve. Already after the first 3-4 interviews, we will evaluate the progress of our work together, and we will do it periodically.

When you believe that you have consolidated the results obtained and how much you can consider yourself capable of continuing independently, we will start the conclusion of the path.


The frequency is initially weekly. Subsequently, different agreements can be made based on need and problem.


The reserved space is personal: you can modify or cancel it with a 48h notice.

About me.

My name is Roberto Marchetti, I am a multicultural Psychologist fluent in English.

I am a registered psychologist with a multicultural background and life experience, I lived and worked in U.K. for 2 years for the Great Ormond Street Hospital and for Globe Locum in London.
I work one-on-one with patients to treat anxiety, mood, adjustment, stress, and somatic disorders, as well as identity and self-esteem, personal and professional problems; I also promote personal growth and self-knowledge.
My therapeutic approach is Positive Psychology and Bio Psycho Social one but, according to the needs of the person, I also draw on other psychological approaches and intervention techniques such as CBT and mindfulness. I might also ask the patient to tackle certain tasks designed to help develop, cultivate and reinforce more effective coping skills, even assigning homework.
And too, I encourage the reading of selected materials on topics treated in therapy.
